Poetry
One thing nearly nobody knows about me, is that, I LOVE POETRY. Specifically romantic poetry. But it’s so much fun to read and write. And I feel it’s a lost medium in our generation. As is the language of romance.
The reason nearly no ones knows about my love for poetry? Because I’ve never met a girl in Georgia that likes poetry…. or even cares for it…
Jay likes Shakespeare … specifically Macbeth. I haven’t read Macbeth since high-school. I like Shakespeare, but reading old English is quite annoying. So i tend to stick to more modern poets.
Spoken word has some decent artist. Such as Shihan (sp?) From the Def Jam Poetry/spoken word series.
I think I’m going to start writing more poetry and publishing it…
Maybe… just maybe. Ill start with a poetry tumblr?
